The API is based on a Restful Web Service so a developer can get data from Interprise on demand and send Sales Orders etc. on demand to Interprise.
We provide options for full information or just changed/new data. EG: if a customer record changes or we have a new customer then we can send you just these rather than a whole file of all customers.

Any Custom fields created in Interprise would automatically be tagged to the records. i.e. if I created a custom field in the stock item then this would auto be available in the file.
You could send Leads to Interprise (for web enquires for trade accounts etc) so you can convert to prospect or customer without having to rekey data.
